or any of the conservative congressmen who've been discredited.
I have a 10 yr old granddaughter who could surpass our president on any number of tests of skill or intelligence.
and about late-night show hosts being better than the Tv news
they don't have to worry about big advertisers breathing down their necks.
the so-called "liberal" media has to watch that it doesn't offend its advertisers, who are ardent supporters of the U.S. Administration.
you can be a comedian and pretty safely knock the prez -- Leno, Letterman, etc.
that's why we get more and better information.
I'm like my son, here -- I didn't start out liberal. But Nixon's and subsequent Republican Administrations (notably Reagan's flop) have pushed me more toward the left end of things. Read my 19th century republicans in the 21st -- there are plenty of reasons there -- conservatives want us to go back to the times when people worked for less than living wage and long hours without overtime and in unsafe conditions. That is happening on a grand scale. The Middle Class is shrinking, poverty is getting worse, opportunities for Americans are so much fewer.
Conservatives have received a revival of sorts due to misinformation (propaganda) that paints all opposition as evil, and many have believed. As things proceed as they have been, I think people will drop their support in droves and I hope the tide turns before a disaster occurs -- I have said for some time now that Bush won't serve out his term -- a defnite possibility seeing that support is at an all time low -- and this is necessary in order to avoid disaster -- otherwise, we'll have a Depression of unmatched intensity and people will turn away from Republicans and conservatives -- but it will be too late -- but we really shouldn't want to have to wait until it is too late -- worldwide war, economic troubles, global warming -- we hazve to stop these things NOW -- but with the present administratoin we can't.

Anything by Michael Moore is more intelligent, more researched and just straight out more truthful than any of the B.S. that Bush, Newt or any of the a-hole conservatives out there put out. If you could just pull you head out of Bush’s rear and start doing actual, real research on the issues instead of just being hand fed the crap Bush puts out there, that is just bits and pieces of facts completely lacking the big picture. Just because anything that is not conservative propaganda is not considered fact by you, does not mean it is not fact.
