Thanks Ariel for the read and comment!
We have some suspect generals for sure in this war. We have had some great ones though and the British have also. This is why we won the big wars. I know we have done wrong in the Iraqi war on several fronts, but the generals are the guys who win the wars and I can see where our problems come from now.

Just cruisin' thro' this morning, got a lot to do today.

I couldn't agree more with your views, and as a lifelong admirer of the US and Americans, it saddens me to see the mess that is being made in Iraq.

Unfortunately, American forces have a long and lamentable history of being " led " by incompetent, and often timid generals, from your Civil War onwards. In common with most other countries' militaries, they learned nothing from WW1, nor WW11. Korea should have taught many lessons, but these were ignored, and the identical mistakes made in Vietnam.

Still, the military mind is forever fighting the war before last, isn't it?

Thanks for the read and comment Jason!
We are having problems of all sorts in Iraq. The President was given the opportunity to do all of this with overwhelming support of his party and the Democrats. Now the left wants to act like it did not have a part in this. These generals seem to be doing the same thing. They are the guys we depend on to win wars and they are nothing bug whiners and complainers. Bush has got some large gonads, but he believes in what he is doing. He may not always be right, but he's going to do what's right.

The United States is not doing well in the latest popularity contest
and I think it's a shame that people in our own camp (be it generals, liberals, even ministers) are putting us down. Bush may not be the swiftest boat in the harbor, but he's got a lot of balls.

He spoke his mind after he served scoop. He's the one who is sick.
I have my opinions and I think they are right on. These guys who are speaking out now are nothing but cowards. They are not real men nor soldiers. I get tired of you sticking up for people who you know nothing about so my opinion counts just as much and probably more than yours. Why didn't these generals do something about it when they served. It's being a coward to quit and then whine. You know that. You know they guys are weak and not realy generals.

As an ex-Marine you piss me off calling the general gay you have no
idea about this man. He was a 3 star general upon his retirement with over 35 years of service. It doesn't matter what president appointed him he deserved the rank. He spoke his mind and served his country you are disgusting. Because someone goes against Bush he is gay you are sick.
