ariel70 -I'm not speaking to the guy in the Vatican until he puts pants on.
So cannonization is definitely out of the question. How have you been?

franciscan - You make assumptions and attempt to draw conclusions

from things that I have not stated. I have not ever said that I think that theologians are pshychotic. It would first of all be the improper diagnosis. A more accurate assessment would be delusional but I have never actually said that in those words either. Let us save a bit of time and cut to the chase. You will not get very far attempting to suggest that what I write in this blog comes from a position of ignorance. If you cannot do any better than dredging up the ancient thoughts of St. Thomas Aquinas as a form of proof of the existence of a supreme being, I suggest that save yourself potential future embarassment.

You see, the proofs of God's existence do not specifically prove anything other than the obrservor has no better explanation for what he sees in the world around him and also has a pre-conceived idea to build the contention around a specifically defined being. The failing point is the specifically defined being, not a race of superior beings and not a being of differing definition but one specifically pre-defined being. Anyone reading these observations objectively, see them for exactly what they are. Not some eye opening revelation but simply an individual's agenda. In this it becomes proof of nothing. Where you somehow feel you have the right to suggest that I need to read more on the subject, I am going to make a suggestion to you. Read something other than Christian propaganda.

Gomedome

Hell, I just wish people would leave religion out of Easter. And Christmas too, come to think of it. LOL

After a somewhat prolonged absence on my part, it warms my hear to read your gentle, caring and tolerant writings ; to detect that delectable whiff of sulphur in the air again ; to hear once more the shrieks of roasting Christians, and the baying howls of rabid atheists in hot pursuit of Islamic zealots. All these, and so many more delights are contained within your blog, and long may you fulminate, my friend.

I really must put your name forward for the Nobel Peace Prize. Or would you prefer canonisation? I'm sure His Nibs in the Vatican would oblige.

Read!

Gomedome, have you ever read Saint Thomas Aquinas or Saint Augustine? Are all the theologians in the world psychotic? Take a look at the twenty proofs for God's existence in The Handbook of Christian Apologetics by Peter Kreeft and Father Ronald Tacelli. If you look you'll learn some interesting things but it's obvious you're enjoying yourself too much to get off your butt and do some serious inquiry.

If you ever want religious faith there is a little known method in my latest entry.

Ariala -- It is easily the worst Easter wish that I have ever seen as well
So I am glad that it made you chuckle.

Gome, this goes down as the worst Easter post and wish in history!!!!!
But I'm afraid it made me laugh, especially when you said "hurling a few of them out of the window."   Blessed Mary, you are a mess. hahahaha
