My son is more like me and has had many of the same things happen to him, but maybe he needed more help from his dad than he got. I tried to be both to my girls and I see a backbone growing on my oldest daughter, and the youngest maybe has too much of a backbone

Doormat Nomore
Just think: Would you want some man or woman treating you child like that. You kids will eventually be doormats too in their relationships when they grow up. Teach them while their still young to get that back bone they need for later on. You may wish someone did it with you but at least your children will know someone did it for them. Good Luck!
