when you say they run wild down the streets is that in the same poetically licenscious sense as me saying that kangaroos are frequently seen ordering cappuccinos in down town Sydney? Mind you the roos are total bastards when it comes to leaving a tip! Plenty of room in those pockets but never any change!!!

Hey Jomei
While I've lived in most capital cities, I must confess that I've only passed through Adelaide once and that was when I was 17. By nature I'd like to think I'm still Hobartian at heart though it's hard to say. I'm glad you enjoyed the post and I've recently become a fan of Northern Exposure too!!

Hi Rob!
Nice to meet another aussie on Blogit, though I'm an Adelaidean, an entirely different species to you. You're about me page is cool. Look forward to reading more of you, and good luck with the camel.....

Hi Rob
Are you looking exclusively for Australian camels?  I can find you one with a slight Cuban accent and two humps.  They run wild in the streets of South Florida.   Melody

Runaway monk?
Is that why you need a camel?  I live near a monastery in Spain.  All the monks have gone.  The place is full of tourists.  Read your blogs and liked them. Stick with the writing, mate.
