Dave,
That's very true. I would imagine it isn't unlike being sucked off at the subway over in Britain. I suppose with roller skates, and a little preparation for the arrival, one could follow right along.

symphony,
Thanks for getting by. Please excuse me for not reading your blogs as often as I would like to. As I said to Nanaroo, I have had a lot come up lately. As soon as I get more blog time, I promise to catch up. You take care too.

Nanar,
Thank you. It was an interesting incident. I have something of a photographic memory, and that particular snapshot has been with me for a very long time. I'm still not quite sure what it is that makes a picture last. It seems to be related to the symbolistic qualities of an event. Kind of a Satori moment.
Thanks for coming to read. I have been a little preoccupied with things outside of Blogit for nearly a month, so please excuse me for not getting by your blogs very regularly.

MPO,
Changing your name can be good if a good name is chosen. An important thing to keep in mind is that the database software that Blogit uses might mess up links, particularly to Blogit pictures. If you run into any problems there, feel free to ask me about resolving them. I have worked with computer software for longer than I care to think about.
I think you could come up with a ''new and improved'' name fairly easily. Just think about it for a while so that you don't pick something that you decide you don't like. I'm a total expert on that kind of mistake, but once you make one there isn't a thing I can do but sympathize.

Straightforward,
That is true, but unfortunately canine conversations are where the greatest caution must be taken. The overheard, or eavesdropped statement is always the first to be taken into hasty misinterpretation. If I make some statement to a dog, and it is overheard by person X, that person will be almost instantly offended. No thought will be given to the reaction because X will not feel responsible for giving reasonable thought to an eavesdropped statement.
The most egregious violations of First Amendment rights have been acted out over misunderstood statements overheard in statements made to dogs.

This wasn't a humor post! It was very serious! They don't say ''it's a dog's life'' without a very serious, and socially correct idea in mind. Good heavens! This blog is so serious that it gives me a headache. Think serious, or someone will come along and insult you. Most people leap at the opportunity to paint the world with insults.

Well, you've done it, Jack ... you've inspired me.
I'm going to go ahead and change my username. Although actually, I think you might have said it was a bad idea.
At any rate, I've already changed my blog's title, description and category (in just the last couple weeks), so my name is really all that's left.

Hey, Jack I know of people who talk to dogs so human beings can get the msg
First Amendment indeed! Without any restrictions on the person saying it as he's not saying it to another person but to a dog within the other person's hearing
