PS:  You were wondering about my father...  I'm happy to say that I had dinner with my folks over the weekend and he tells me he passed his audition and starts the training next week.  At the age of 83, he's mighty tickled about that.  I knew he'd get it, though, as he's always been well-spoken.  He has an English accent, too, which probably didn't hurt his chances.  Also, he did some radio acting for BBC after the war, for a few years, so I guess that's still standing him in good stead.  I think he's going to like getting up in the mornings and heading downtown to the "job" again, after all these years of retirement and looking after grandkids.

Krisles...
The photos were excellent.  A lot of people don't like the black and white, but for me it brings those memories flooding back.  Also the fact they are not properly exposed and sometimes a little fuzzy makes them more like our memories, mine anyway.  It helps on focus on a time when things, though not perfect, were better than they are now.

Well, you were one hell of a cutie.  I'll bet the little fellas around Troup tossed a few pebbles up at your window, eh?  I love these photos, with you all perched so fine...  Even at that age, you come across as a self-confident little dickens.  This is a good idea.  There are so many little details in your life which make you who you are.  Without a record like this, once you've gone to your reward, most of them would vanish as if they'd never happened.  You're also keeping alive your own parents and grandparents.  Solid gold for your own grandchildren, Krisles
