Corbin
Once more, prove me wrong.
Show me that this great job growth is in fair paying, full time work.
I am not trying to play the victim, never do and never will, just showing you the cold hard facts or real life. I am not asking to be given a job I do not deserve, just one that pays fair and will allow me to be able to provide for my family. Or is that too much for an educated, experienced person to ask from this 'healthy' economy of yours?
If you think the job market is so great, quit your job and look for a new one and see what is really out there right now.

Are you looking for a job right now?
Full time jobs with any real benefits are hard to find.
Fair paying jobs are hard not out there.
The job growth is in part time and temporary jobs.
Why do I know this?
Because I am looking for a job right now and I am very much aware of the reality of it.
I am collage educated and have great work experience. I was about to get a job, but then a sudden hiring freeze came up, and they can only hire part time, temporary help now.
And talking to my prospective employers I have learned that hey are getting a lot of people over qualified for the jobs, because the better jobs are getting les and less and more and mere people are having to settle for jobs bellow their education and experience, which looks like what I may have to do if I wish to be able to take care of my family.
Sorry, but that is not the signs of a good economy.

Thanks for the read and comment smartdog,
You are correct! I don't think would pay attention to good news. Michigan is probably doing better than what most people think. The auto industry is in the tanks and it mostly because of their own doing, but things will turn around in due time.

The media always pulls out the bad side of a story - unfortunately, it's what attracts most viewers. Personally i think the economy is simply changing. Michigan's economy is horrible right now, but that is because their economy depends so much on the auto industry who can barely stay afloat right now. that's my take anyways...
Good post.
be well,
