xenox, sorry about your sour stomach.
Perhaps a few tums might help?
Regarding 6/6/6, I am not expecting another 9/11. I would certainly like to believe we won't experience that again. That said, I DO KNOW that specific numbers and dates are important to the Bin Ladens of this world and his terrorist cronies. I cannot speak for other Muslims.
Cheer up!

looks like it.
I guess because you feel the Muslims are "just that way" - -eh?
I'm in a sour mood -- comments like you just made set me off in a negative way -- I've bot to bite my tongue and not come back at you the way my sour stomach says I shou.d

Interesting two links you posted.
I read both. The first was completely inane and a waste of time.
The second had a little more merit in that there are people (including Muslims) who are very much into numerology. I think it's entirely within the realm of the possible for them to attempt to wreck havoc on such a day as 6/6/06.
For me as a Christian, I could really care less what happens on that day. God knows the future, and I will simply put my trust in him and attempt to live each day to the fullest.

Rev
I just hope no one get's the bright idea for mass suicide like they did with the comet Hale Bop..There are those who will use any excuse to validate their own insecurities which typically have nothing to do with reasoning.
People should remember that no one knows when the end will come. It is not our privilege to know such things. Quite frankly, I don't want to know, but do not fear it. My faith has carried me through these last 56 years and I see no reason to change that now!
I will agree it is sad to see the loonies come out and prey on those of little or no faith, or education, or personal relationship with God..

Who is talking about rantional minds?
I was talking about religious nut jobs who are looking for the end of the world to happen because they get their jollys off over such things.

kooka_lives - a rational mind would take a look at history then realize 666
or the search for it under every rock, to be the nonsensical drivel that it is.
The convergence of the 3 sixes in date combinations happens every 10 years if certain other numbers are omitted from the common usage of the date. Just as they are for this coming june ("200" preceding the last six). Then if these omissions are fair game, so too would any other number omissions be, making the occurances of 3 sixes in a date number into the hundreds over the last couple of millenia. The 1960's for example could have had several "666" days occuring every month by throwing out any numbers that didn't suit the quest of trying to find some ridiculous symbolism where there is none. Besides, the 60's weren't particularly evil years . . . .? . . . . wait a minute?
