i know what u mean. i was just talking to my boyfriend, last night, about a girl i went to junior high and high school with. her dad was the school janitor and she was quite poor. one day in junior high, we had a substitute and i decided to fix her hair(it wasn't ever dirty just plain and "unfixed"). I took the silk red ribbon and barrette out of my hair and fixed her with them. i remember during our senior year of high school she still wore that ribbon...i suppose it was the only one she had and had ever had. i think about her and that situation and it still makes me sad. but, recently, i got a call from an old classmate and heard she is working for a film company in hollywood, so, if she is happy things have definately turned around for her!!
thanks for reading. i will be finishing soon!!
thanks,
katep

When I was in highschool
I had a few stalkers. A few kind words can mean a lot to somebody who has no friends. One was a kid who was very very pale, had very outdated, thick-rimmed and square eye glasses like Hank Hill, serious dandruff in this large mass of dark unkempt hair, and the worst clothes you ever saw. Then one day I saw him at the grocery store with his mom. I remember being totally pissed at his mom, like, why didn't she buy him some dandruff shampoo, and why didn't she show him how to comb his hair. He would follow me around and not say a word, and my best friend would yell at him. Then I moved, but sometimes I wonder what happened to him. It was kind of sad. I'm sure your situation was way more dangerous because when they are older like that and have those unresolved issues, well, you just never know what kind of deranged you're dealing with. Can't wait to read the next installment.

Hey, I'm glad you're going ahead with the follow-up story
Nicely written, and I like the comfortable pace and the little details you're including. Those are what make a story.
Ha....president of the U.S. Yep, that's about when I would've started glancing at my watch. I love character studies and this guy is rich. I'm looking forward to the next part...

....i hate to tell you more disturbing news katep....but, in this age of public disclosure of information, with a license plate number your name can be found, with your name, your driver's license info., date of birth, etc.....spend a few bucks and you get the SSN....to be safe, i think we must all drive around in autos rented by someone else, always pay cash, and never divulge any identifying info......great post, anxious to read more.....

Stalkers are really bad news. Lots of terrible things have happened in this world because of stalkers. Welcome to Blogit. I assume we get to hear more of this story.
