I chuckled all the way through reading your comment. I never thought about being honest and just asking him. Geez, what a concept!
Actually, I played a hunch that Jay has never changed his password. The hunch paid off. Then comes the question, do I or don't I? OF course, I did!!!!!! So? So? What did they say??????
Mike, of course, so predictably told about how "down" he had been about the time I came out of the blue with my cheerful e-mail and how he'd distanced himself so much from his family and wife and how things had gotten out of hand before he stepped back into "reality"......isn't it interesting how they rationalize dipping their toes into the oasis in the middle of the f****** desert. If I'd have come around in another year or 5, they would probably have been divorced but then he could have been attached to a new wife. Mike and Jay have a mutual admiration thing going on now. I thought it was so interesting that neither one of them used my name or at least not more than once. "Tiptoe, through my feelings, I'm so sneaky, and I'm still alive no traps set, in the tulips, for me......."

I attended a wedding once with my 1st and 2nd husbands in attendance. My mother approached me and said, 'doesn't it make you nervous that your ex and current husband our talking?' I'd replied, 'as long as they kept their fists in their pockets it doesn't bother me a bit.' You and Jay have a wonderful open relationship as far as communication is concerned, couldn't you just ask Jay to enlighten you on what transpired? You and I are both cats on our 9th life, curiosity would be the last thing that would kill us!!!!
