anglofinspirtion - thank you - the depiction of our species having solved
most of it's problems in the future was for me, one of Star Trek's greatest appeals. Now that the series' are over, it's legacy will include imprinting a message of some hope that these ideals are attainable on our collective consciousness. But realisticly, I agree that for mankind lofty ideals of any form are not likely attainable.

I thought that this was very interesting... I think that it would be a much

better world for everyone, if we could just stop worrying about what other people believe and don't believe. Am I am better than a radical muslim, if I am a christian who must thrust my beliefs on you? No, I am no different if I do that... Sorry if I got off topic there, but I have always thought that the Star Trek way would be ideal, is it an attainable world? It saddens me to say, probably not!

Great post!

You are living in a dream world
The Prime Directive dictates that there be no interference with the natural development of any primitive society.  But we didn't stick to that, we jumped inside you and now we're having a ball!
