Avant-Garde,

I think when there are two together, a third presence enters into the equation, depending on the mental and emotional focus of either or both.  Then it becomes a triangle, and triangles or pyramids are the most stable chemical or physical object.

Either that, or the chemistry becomes unstable or explosive, again depending on the mental and emotional focus of the relationship.

I think you are addressing the paradox of being. I can only acknowledge myself being by relating to something else. We can derive ourselves as being compassionate, loving, and peaceful by sharing those gifts with others. Conversely, being fearful, angry, sorrowful, etc. is a direct result of believing that others make us who we are.

avant,
Does one not recognize his consciousness until he has another to be compassionate about?  Was Adam compassionate about the animals that were in his charge?  Probably, because he walked with his Creator.

I've been checking your blogs and haven't seen anything new lately. Perhaps there will be something there right now..

That is how I see it, too. Thank you for reading.

Avant, well said. The Self becoming aware of the Self also needs Other.

I feel the blood pulsing through my body as I read this, reminding me to thank my creators for giving me yet another day in which to create, to enjoy, to revel in.  It is an endless circle.

Well in this one for me, consciousness is in the individual first, and expands with the addition of a significant other. You sure make one think my friend

The first paragraph seems to really speak to writing/blogging.  As creator of something written, even though it is really for ourselves, we truely appreciate someone else to read and give feedback.

I think what you're writing about is important. You as well as many others are helping to lift the thick veil from the sleeping.

Thanks for dropping by and giving it a go. I know it's not for everyone. I don't understand the higher maths very well. We are all made differently.

With such gifts of awareness right before us

it's amazing how we allow modern "popular culture" to blind to their power and beauty, and it is yet another gift that you choose to write about them as you do.

I appreciated (as I do all of ) your comments on my Aura blog about being a healer who combines the intuitive with the scientific in the treatment of patients. That is a growing natural trend among many medical practitioners and I suspect that in the future it shall be the norm.
