You have touched on the Eisenhower warning of the "military-industrial complex" and now with civilan sub-contractors doing a lot of the dirty work, the warning is ever more ominous.

Powerful and true Food
Unfortunately there are always those who profit hugely from conflict, without a scratch or loss of any kind. Until that is changed somehow, war is an industry that won't be abandoned, imo.

Iraq war was, and we should have known better!
