Beyond that mystery, let's review: Iraq - invaded to eliminate major supporter and financier of terror and major threat to regional stability. Invading US to steal its resources - Check back tomorrow for discussion of the history of illegal immigration into the US. Suffice it to say for now that it has been a problem for decades. Therefore, your using Iraq to justify illegal immigration falls apart.
FW - I aim to please! But, if you would, please give me a quote from this post in which I "demonize the opposition." The extremes I cited were actually advocated at the Los Angeles rally. "I grant you that some illegals want to reclaim the land stolen from them long ago" - OK, and how did their forebears steal it from? Should they give Mexico back to those from whom their forebears stole it? For that matter, why don't we all just close up shop and go back to our native Asia, Europe and Africa? None of us are truly native to the Americas.

When you can't debate an issue on its merits, then demonize the opposition. I grant you that some illegals want to reclaim the land stolen from them long ago. But that line of thinking is a tiny minority. Probably about the same size as those on your side who want to round up and deport all Latins in the US, whether they are citizens or not.
