Thank you so much for your generosity. I've come to terms with the fact that he probably will succumb to this. However, having said that, I felt his mass this morning when I walked in, and it did feel different. I think it does kind of go into the bottom area of his left neck. My wife says that he has trouble shaking his head.

Anything you can give will be gratefully received. You're a wonderful soul who has great compassion.

Avant....

Sorry, I keep referring to Butterscotch as "her". I know Butterscotch is a "he".  All my pets are females and I guess that's force of habit..

Hi Avant.....

I did the healing on Butterscotch as planned. The following is what I experiencedI was able to see the mass and it appeared dark and murky.  After a while I saw green energy coming in and engulfing the tumor.  After the green energy came the violet energy and I saw the tumor breaking up. Green is a physical healing color and the violet I believe was healing on a higher level.  I also picked up some blocked energy in the left neck area.  Is he having any problems there?  If not, check to see if the tumor is spreading into that area.  This healing will continue on Butterscotch as long as needed and I will do another treatment on her tomorrow morning same time just to strengthen it. I have seen remarkable healings on animals so time will tell.  Sometimes it is just their time to go and what Reiki will do is make the transition easier for them.  Let me know how Butterscotch is doing. God Bless her and all of you!

One of your best I think
I was standing on a Derbyshire hillside yesterday and experienced just such a shaft of light.

Thank you so much. I need to hear that. There's so much happening this year. I just need to step out in faith and do it.

That's a good idea. I remember once, I was cutting in an orchard and my blood sugar really dropped. I felt awful and I had no food with me. I started invoking this 'violet translucent flame' and I immediately started feeling better. It really works.

Oh, not a good part of town, huh.  Before you do that shift do you surround yourself with white light and ask for protection? If not that's a good thing to do.  You can also use the violet flame!

My wife will be with him in the morning. Unfortunately, I must go in to do a shift at work, and will be gone 24 hours. I'm in the bad area tomorrow, so I will have to practice non-judgmental behavior. A lot of crack heads and gang bangers on that side of town.

Avant....

As I was typing my comment you answered my question.  Ok, we are all set.  I am more than happy to do this, this is part of my service to do healing for people and animals.  If you are aroun see if you notice any changes in his behavior.  Animals are real sensitive to this energy and can some times feel it.

You left out what his name is and I will do the healing in the morning and let you know what I pick up. But I do need his name.

And, his name of course, is Butterscotch. We call him 'peanut' a lot.

I'm sorry. He will be upstairs in our kitchen, lying under the table most likely. Or, he will be in the front doorway, with his head on the kitchen floor. He likes to sleep a lot.

He is gold with white tips to his feet and tail. His hair is flowing and thick. He weighs 100 pounds. His eyes are diamond shaped and he always has a relaxed smile on his face. His tail wags all the time. His tumor is on his chest, where the front of the left shoulder meets it. It is baseball sized and spongy.

I owe you one!

posted by avant-garde on March 31, 2006 at 3:18 PM | link to this | reply

Avant, I once had a golden, they are indeed special souls.
Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep when she was just 6. I remember that I let her go in the moment and felt pleased with how I handled it. It was a stark contrast to when we lost our German Shepherd when I was a teenager, I was a real mess. Animals are such great teachers.

I will absolutely be happy to do it.  Tell me what his name is and what he looks like.  I need to visualize him to do the healing.  I can do it tomorrow morning.  Where will he be?

Oh my God! Surgery was suggested by the vet, as the needle biopsy was inconclusive. It made no sense to me, but I kept getting 'NO' on the surgery. I felt irresponsible and guilty for not getting him in right away.

Would you please? He's a very kind soul who's never been mean to anyone. He befriends bunnies in our yard every spring from Pepper and Pee-Wee. He fends them off until the little fellows can hide.

Great words...they are heavenly!  Also, how is you golden retriever? Did you get the prognosis yet?  You know I can do long distance Reiki healing on him/her if your're interested, let me know!

I have a white/black pit bull, a pit bull/black lab mix, a golden retriever, and a shepherd/lab mix. They are all very loving and they love to play as well. Our golden retriever has a tumor on his chest, and we're uncertain what to do about it. He's 11 years old and I don't think he can tolerate major surgery.

They are like my children, too.

"Heaven comes in silence"

A powerful observation that most of us must surely fear because we generally tend to avoid quietude and cultivate the exact opposite. Thanks for another magical consciousness-raising post.
