Comments on Bush Surveillance Program Within the Law, Per Former FISA Judges

Thanks, Scoop and Corbin!
My take on the "former" is this: They were FISA judges, so they must know what they're talking about. Understood, their testimony doesn't have the weight of a ruling by a sitting judge, but they were called to testify because of their experience and knowledge of the law, not because of their good looks. As for salt, I take what the Democrats say about all this with a very large truckload of salt!

Writer....

there you have it.......people opposed to the administration can quote and link to a bevy of former Generals, diplomates, and CIA personnel.....but five "former"FISA  judges opinions of what they judged is not worth a grain of salt.........how's that for logic???

I'll be curious to hear from all of  our anti-Bushies here regarding this little revelation.........what say you???

I think you have to look at it this way "A panel of former Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judges".

How former? What were they involved in and when?

And the big one is this.

"The five judges testifying before the committee said they could not speak specifically to the NSA listening program without being briefed on it,"

So really how can they give an honest opinion, they know nothing.

I am not one way or another on this but I think all this has to be taken with a grain of salt.
