Hi, shypettite,
I found this one through Uncle Dave's blog.  I'm glad I did.  Good imagery.  Familiar feelings.  I've seen or heard of the lonely hangers in the closet before.  I don't remember where.  This is well done.  Thanks.  :)

Shypettite, just revisiting the showcasers to see how it's going. Looks
like it's working for you. I'm pleased.

This is an enjoyable read
although the poem is conveying a sad and lonely mood.

Very good, shypettite
I also liked the "naked hangers" huddling.  It grabbed me because it is so true and yet I've never seen anything written about them before.

I love your analogy about the naked hangers cuddled together. Very vivid image!

Good prose moves the reader without need for explanation ....
...no need to explain here ... very nice

shypettite: catching my breath

a vivid, and moving account of a broken and lonly heart.  You remind all of us what it means to "have and to hold..."

thank you

Beautiful poem that shows us the pain. The naked hangers cuddling together works very well for me. The empty pit is strong too.

Great choice for the showcase.

Shypettite
Another marvelous poem.  Once again there are elements in it that I can personally recognize.

Shypettite,
I like the part about the bed holding you.  You express so much feeling in one or two well-chosen images and phrases. You'll do well with the language, because you have a feeling for it.    You are truly a talented poet.

You touch my soul
Your poetry reminds me of a dear one lost and all the feelings I had when that happened.  Just remember alway through the darkest and hardest moments in life we learn how to truly appreciate the good things.

Thank you, all of you, who read my poem and left me such a nice comment.
I am really surprise, that I am able to express my thoughts in English, the way people like and undestand, as well.

Hi, shypettite,
I agree with OFFBEATS that lots of us can relate to that feeling at one time or another.  This is a really thoughtful poem.  I really like the part about the naked hangers cuddling together.  Thanks. :)

Shy
This is sad and lovely...I have to wonder how many of us on this site are women who can relate?I enjoy being single, but like tonight ( for a couple of hours) I thought about being alone too much...
