I was trying to include as many types of shoes in my article as possible with some of the lesser known types in there also. The editor wanted more mainstream and I can live with that. I am a good writer for her. I listen. I don't have a big ego.

I had only one mention of motorcycle boots in my first draft.
The editor axed it though.

Many of the women complained about just that. Of course, we all know the styles change so you have to buy new apparel to stay up to date. But most seem willing to do whatever it takes to stay in vogue.

Sarooster - I'm curious. Was your research with women and in ...
...women's shoe stores? Did you get many complaining about pointed toes, annual style changes, and the need to have a zillion pairs for length of skirt or pants as well as time of day and weather, etc., etc.? Its a real pain IMHO.
