- Go to Queen of the House
Queen.
Dear Nana... When I got married, my mum told me that there could only be one Queen in the house. I did not really got it until many years have passed. Now I understand, my wife is the Queen and I don't need to argue about anything. I learned not to argue.
Though I always say the last word: 'YES, HONEY'... LOL.. Prof

Hi there,
enjoy. Personally, I'd wait till after she was settled - I can't stand unpacking.

Nana, everyone should have to go with me for a few days
During a bad tornado, hurricane, flood disaster and see what happens to people's lives afterwards.
People go from being spoiled, lazy, indulgent Americans to being grateful when the Red Cross truck brings us bottled water and beanie-weanies for lunch. I onced spilled a plate of Ravioli (not the good kind) and tomato sauce all over the seats of my new car.

Nanaroo,
Have a good trip, and I look forward to hearing about your visit. How long is the drive? (I ask because I really hate long drives, and making a long drive to visit is really love.) :)

Nan--- Enjoy the visit, and remember that it's only temporary. You're not
moving in with her (and vice versa).

Maybe it will be a fun visit for once
I have the exact same problem with my sister, except its not about make-up, its about her. She is competitive about everything. She compares us in every aspect, and is negative about it. Visits usually end up with an arguement ensueing, apologies, and then I can't wait for her to just go back home. Mine lives 5 hours away, and we get along much better by telephone. Be safe on your trip!

LOL... sorry, I'm laughing at your first comment...
All you can do is adjust how you react to her... laugh at her more (not out loud, but in your head)... it might help... and think of all you'll have to blog!

Hope you have a good visit with your sister...
Just accept her the way she is and love her. Don't try to 'fix' or change her. I have all my stuff in storage now, except for a car-full of my clothes and personal things. My life will take a new direction - I'll loose all those comforts for a while.
So stop whining about 2 days and just go have fun with your sister.
