Writer,
I really hope the Democrats keep pushing the issue. They have quotes for days supporting the war after seeing the intelligence and they were wrong also.

Pursing censure or impeachment would also alienate them from voters . . .
who are fed up with such infanitle tacrics. Really - I see little difference between Feingold (a. k. a. The Voice of Moderation) introducing his resolution to censure then hiding before it can be debated and a kid threatening to hold his breath until his face (state?) turns blue.

A wonderful comment, offbeats!
Yes, George Bush is going to do what he thinks is right for the country. I don't really think the left is too keen on impeachment. They just want to sully the guys reputation as much as they can while they pander to their bases. And the left has many bases, don't they?

I think you know how I feel about this subject...

When we went to war in Iraq it was for a good reason. When we found those triple nozzle shells we knew they weren't going to be filling them with perfume. They serve only one purpose and that is to kill. So having said that, how can anyone deny the possibility of germ, nuclear capabilities were there?

As for impeachment, they better remember who the people voted for, and I for one, would do it again! Maybe he's not the prettiest man to look at or the best speaker to listen to, but he is a man of conviction who takes too much crapola from the left...I believe he does so because there are far more important things that the man has on his mind......

Thanks BlackPearl1,
You are very correct. We point fingers; blame each other. And nothing gets done. In the case of the war in Iraq, an overwhelming majority of Democrats voted to give the President the authority to do what he has done. They did not because of politics, not a belief they had. So they are just as much to blame as the President.

sarooster,
If only more of us would take part in trying to solve the problem, with genuine discussions and putting strategies in place, instead of over and over and over identifying the same problem and pointing fingers of blame about it.  Boy, we waste a lot of time.  Again, you give me much to think about.  :)
