Nanar,
Nice picture.  If you want to find out more about the cruel month, read T.S. Eliot's Wasteland.  I'm not sure that his reference was specifically to men, but I suppose it could be taken that way.  It does relate very much to Spring.  It isn't a short poem, but it certainly has a lot to say.

I have been feeling that same way
since about a week before the first day of spring, which still hasn't landed in Pennsylvania.

it's not that much fun- it feels more like a disease!

Nan--- Have fun. I used to think that I suffered from spring fever
annually. But then I discovered that it was just allergies.

wow, I thought that expression was more well- known - it's one of my favorites, for that 'certain' mood!

I was about to get Spring Fever,
But we got this cold front. It's been like winter all week. Hope you've got warmer temps there. It certainly looks beautiful!!!!

Ooh, pretty picture. Yes I wish the ice would melt. Speaking of chocolate, I had a one inch square of World Chocolate at the local deli the other day. It was about a dollar but worth every penny. Also Schwan's chocolate frozen yogurt is good. Doesn't sound like it would be but it is.

Nana...

Your right in part. Every month is the crueles month for married men. Single men suffer one month out of the year: April.

Oh, You 'Betcha!
I've had "spring fever" for several months.  I'm so tired of this dreadful rain and have been dreaming of warmer, drier days for quite some time now.  Not this weekend...maybe next!

Yes, Nanaroo
Count me in.   I harbor that feeling and it pops out quite often.   Lovely picture.

Nanaroo......It's only about 46 degrees here....
But I must say the flowering shrub or tree is quite lovely. I am ready for spring, too. Everyone should go take a "flying f..." I agree with ya.....

Nanaroo,
I get like that regularly, usually in the early mornings, though.  Chocolates... Mmmm. Sounds good.  I'm sure the sunshine will do you good, also.  When I get the "fever", I like to spend as much time with light and sunshine as possible.  It's a cold day here, today, but at least the sun is out.  :)

Actually spring time hikes up my energy level!
Maybe that's a different kind of spring fever!
