Well, at least a little, BlackPearl.

Just doing my part to try and keep things moving, Ben.

Thank you, Anthony ...
and the same to you, too.

Which is exactly why we've never looked into the history of the site, TAPS-

MPO,
That's enough to make me want to stay inside at night, too.  Hopefully, it's much better in the day light.

Is it the norm that there are no lights at the playground? A public facility should have them.

M.P.O.
I must admit, it does look rather like a child cemetery.

Okay, I kinda remember him now ...
but, as I said, I only really watched the show a few times.

MPO: Brian Harnois

Agreed, they are all a little socially "off" which is why they are chasing Ghosts by night and plumbers at Roto-Rooter by day.  Still, before he was fired, Brian was the one who carried all the equipment, got lost on the way to assignments  (usually getting lost on a two lane county  highway) lost or broke expensive cameras, squealed like a little girl in pig-tails every time the house settled on its foundations, and constantly bickered with that big guy, Jason, which was even more amusing considering how small and skinny Brian was.

I miss him!  LOL

Which geeky guy is that, Gulliver?
I mean, they were all kinda geeky.

posted by Mademoiselle on March 24, 2006 at 10:47 AM | link to this | reply

See, FoF ... strat agrees with me!
You know, for Halloween ... I should give a photo tour of my entire house.

Ghost Hunters
I want them to rehire that geeky guy they fired last season.  Watching him goof off was half of the comedic element to the show.  Now it just seems too dry and stuffy, like they take themselves too seriously.  (Which, they probably do.)

posted by Captain_Gulliver on March 24, 2006 at 10:42 AM | link to this | reply

Wow. That's pretty freaky looking.

Actually, Cesium, I much appreciate the deep interest.

That's a really cool word for it, fourcats ...
floaty.  I'd never heard it used (that way) before.

posted by Mademoiselle on March 24, 2006 at 9:19 AM | link to this | reply

I like the premise of "Ghost Hunters", Gulliver ...

but the show itself gets too technical.  I mean, it's supposed to be about ghosts, not computers.

Oh, and sure, swing by any time.

Whoops! Accidentally pressed "add comment" before I was done writing.
At any rate, no ... there isn't anyone in the photos.   At least, there isn't supposed to be.

posted by Mademoiselle on March 24, 2006 at 9:15 AM | link to this | reply

Oh, well, excuse me, FoF!  If it doesn't live up to your "spectral standard"!

Sorry, Darlin,
I'm afraid you have a demanding fan-base.

very floaty. looks like a book's cover photography
for a psychological thriller.

The floating orb in the middle picture...
Upon careful evaluation of this anomaly, I have concluded that this aberration is not a physical representation of energy, but is in fact just MPO's thumb.

The playground does look like something off the set of Ghost Hunters.

Or  Poltergeist

Cool  Can I swing there tomorrow night?

I'm not getting the creepy feeling myself...
My 5 YO concurs. That third one does look like you stuck someone in a black tshirt up on it though... or that could be the part you are talking about. But I am not finding that one creepy either... Now, wiley's gallows picture....THAT was creepy... Sorry

Cesium, I barely managed to figure out how to post visuals ...

and now you want audio, too?

I will try, though.  Of course, that would actually require going near that thing at night.

Right you are, Dave ...

I need time to elaborate.  Which unfortunately I didn't have last night (cause of the NCAA tournament).

I hope to delve into this further (very soon) ... plus write about my one woman boycott of all movie theaters ... plus post more pet pictures.

It really is creepy looking isn't it, Jack?

We didn't install it, btw.  It, like, came with the house.

(cue spooky music)

Aw come on, now
We need sound to go with the pics

It could definitely make a good story, this observation from life

mpo,
Look over that playground equipment carefully.  It looks like equipment that was recently stolen from the Marquis de Sade Museum.  It may well be haunted.

posted by Jack_Flash on March 24, 2006 at 12:38 AM | link to this | reply

I will try to, Prof ...
We actually think we can see something (supernatural) in the third picture, though.  But, it could just be lousy camera work.

posted by Mademoiselle on March 24, 2006 at 12:27 AM | link to this | reply

Record them.
Dear Madame.. If in the future you will have the chance, try recording the squeeking metal, sound of the children playing and keep taking photographs, you might be able to catch a ghost in the camera. I have a very clear photo of a ghost taken in France last year but I don't have the permission of the owner to post them, so until then... keep watching... regards.. Prof

Maybe that was where I got the idea, Una ...

At any rate, we have essentially abandoned that whole area.  In fact, you may notice in one photo that you can sorta see part of a shed ... well, we don't go anywhere near that, either.

Unless we absolutely have to.

M.P.O.
This reminds of the comment you left for my article on my ghost experience. The playground on your property sounds very creepy indeed.
