Quirky--- My mother always has been that way, and, of course, the process
takes longer and longer with each passing year. She simply can not answer a question directly. She must tell you what each person said through a convoluted series of events that finally leads to her NOT answering the question. Wish that I had the patience that you do. I try, though.

That's sweet Quirky,
My mother was the same way, and sad to say, I think I've developed that same habit myself - taking the long route to tell a story. Good attitude, because yes, you will miss your mom when she's gone.
