You know Gomey, I click on the comments section almost every time I read your posts in the vain hope there'd be a zinger like those for me to tear apart. Ah well. I should have made my own religion-bashing blog, but I just don't have the endless supply of things to say. I mean, to make a killer argument that forces religious guys to resort to insults to hold onto their sense of moral superiority, you have to take their point of view - at least to some extent -
seriously. And I just can't manage it for long.

Thanks for sharing these. People can be really sensitive about the things we feel strongly. While I feel strongly, and undeterred about my own faith in God, I'm not threatened or offended by other people's expressions. I suppose I'm fortunate in that way. I enjoyed reading your stuff. Whether I agree or not, it's really insightful and entertaining to me. I sense that the comments are equally entertaining to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I look forward to reading more. You're a good writer. :)

If these people were truly devout, the proper response would have been:
"Jesus loves you just the way you are ... but he loves you too much to let you stay that way." P.S. The last one kinda reminds me of in "City Slickers" when Jack Palance tells Billy Crystal, "I crap bigger than you!"
