Well these guys are failing at fooling me now, its always the same thing.  Africa, importer and have good jobs like doctors, lawyers and builders.  Men with phoney pictures who look too good to be true.

inumdated with scam emails, informing that I have won a lottery in the 1st division so and so.

I just havent talked to any of them long enough to really know what they want but it just boils down to help of some kind.  Transferring money into their accounts to help the poor or whatever

I agree with the first comment.

Seriously though, I don't really spend much time chatting online, but I have heard about this sort of thing (on Dateline).

There are so many crooks out there it's ridiculous.  I guess the anonymity (of the internet) pretty much breeds that sort of thing.
