- Go to Bush Tells Democrats to Fish or Cut Bait on National Security
Welcome, Ms. Bradrock!
Glad to have you on board!
FW, the question is legitimate, and has been since Whining Harry Reid boasted prematurely about killing the Patriot Act. To the congressional liberals, politics is far more important than national security. As for your question, I seriously doubt you would accept any answer than the one you already believe. The courts may say it's legal, but if FW Mystic says it isn't, then by gosh and by golly it isn't.

The GOP carries the south because the people are smart
and not easily fooled like they once were when the Democrats controlled the South. The people wised up and that was it for the Dems.

As usual, you reframe the question to suit your needs ...
the question isn't whether the government shouldn't have a surveillance program. Obviously there is a mechanism for it, FISA. The question is whether the President BROKE and CONTINUES to break the law by not seeking COURT APPROVAL, as provided by FISA, for authorization wiretaps amd other electronic surveillance.
No wonder you guys carried the South. While you may fool some of the people some of the time, you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
