I think the people who have to deal with it or the people

who "dislike" the President. I know we are in a terrible situation, but it's one that President Bush had to make decisions on after being given an overwhelming mandate by the Congress. He's doing his job. To sit and say now it's no good is not doing much good for anyone. People needed to stand up to the guy before the war started. My stance is the President, or any President, should not be given the authority to go to war. That's the Congress' job. It's them I have a problem with and most of the Monday morning quarterbacking going on now.

That said, I wish your son the best over there. I hope he can stay safe, or as safe as you can be in Iraq. I am sure he learned some valuable lessons the first time around that may save his life and some of his buddies also. There is no good in war. Even the victors pay a heavy price.

You are wrong again, I never ever said I hated Bush, I voted for Bush
I dislike his policies but I have always supported the troops. Like I said if you read the comment, my son was over there and is going back. I support him and all his buddies, I don't have to like the war to support the troops, they are doing what they signed up for. All deaths are bad it doesn't matter how they happen , you were just saying that I was wrong about the death in the operation and I wasn't, I always give the facts based on truth, deal with it.

Yes, it was a low blow!
It was meant to be a low blow. In that piece and the comments after ,all you wanted to do was prove your hatred for Bush. You were not worried about oru soldiers. You are in general, but I think in that instance it was more important for you to get your point across. Look, I know the war is horrible. Which one has not been? But just to hate a man because he is trying to do his job is plain wrong. Be mad at the Congress who gave him the power to do what he did. They are the ones who messed the deal up.They should have kept the powers given to them by the Constitution. The war is not always going to best over there. I am going to support the President and the troops along with the people who have to make the decisions they have to make in and about Iraq. And I will do it with as much vengenance as the people who hate it.

You are very low, of course I take every death seriously, my son was over

in Iraq and is going back,  I have been to one funeral of a National Guardsman killed in my area, and before you got here I ran the complete lists of deaths of every man and woman who were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan until I just could take it anymore. I fought in Vietnam and grieved every death. DON'T evey say I don't care, you don't know me. Just because I don't like Bush's stupid Iraq fiasco NEVER say I don't care. I do care that is why I write to get the facts out not the rah rah pom pom shaking bullshit.

I write the facts as you pointed out. I research the facts to get the truth out.
