and kitties of the shark world. But they might mistake your toes for shrimp.

Arrange a secret call procedure. Ring a specified number of times, wait a specified number of minutes, and call back. Unless your sister is too ''proper'' to deal with that. I know a lot of people who can't deal with that sort of thing because it seems ''socially unacceptable and just plain weird.'' I can't imagine a poorer excuse, but plenty of people think that way.
The swampy tropics may look good now, but wait two months and go. California will look like LA-LA Land. You will long for Long Beach. Ah, the aromatic drive through the brown air of the cat-crackers at the petroleum plants. Enough to bring tears to your eyes. Has Long Beach improved?

Come on. It isn't that bad.
We're sharing the same weather and though I know what you mean about the wet and cold, we really have no reason to complain. At least we don't live in Kansas.

What a relief, Nanaroo,
even if she wants her own space, a sister can't help but worry, and it wouldn''t kill her to pick up a phone and say so. Creepy about the ex. My half-sister's being the same way, very distant right now after her divorce, and frankly flaky. It must run in our familly.
The photos are beautiful. I wish I could remember where I was in 83 or so, when I went out on a dive boat, but honestly, I was just along for the ride, it was so beautiful though.
