I would daresay that the 'fighting' is the reason it exists. You see yourself as being 'attacked' by outside forces, and feel the need to hide. Yet, the hiding creates the demon, who grows strong from your refusing to look.

Contrary to what one might think, relaxing and letting go provides freedom from this illusion. Rather than losing, falling over the edge and becoming lost, one is found within the sphere of truth.

hi avant
since my husband passed, i've been struggling hard, railing against agorophobia. over these last few days, i've come to accept my sorry lot as a hermit, and i've found myself happy. then the thought..what if i don't fight it. what happens then? your prose always gives food for thought.
