Nanaroo,
I've heard of Uncle Wiggily, but never seen the book. I love old-style children's book illustrations, though.

Yeah, do the report! Now I haven't read that many children's books for awhile,, but I do like the illustrations.. ( kind of what the men say about Playboy..I only buy it for the articles...except reversed) I buy children and mythology, travel, etc many times for the illustrations!!

I've been wondering that too!  Several people have suggested that I write children's books but I am more interested in writing a more grown-up novel from a child's point of view (kind of like the Sue Monk Kidd books).

I read kids' books all the time, and I often wonder how certain ones become successful, and others do not. It has no rhyme or reason to it.

Nan--- I read it, but too long ago to remember. I'd like a report, please

the board game would be fun!  I'm really looking forward to reading the book and am curious about the author.
