I kind of missed a lot of the irony in these commercials, I was just sort of mouth-breathing on my couch, going "huh?" I've got to see them again.

Missed those Myers' moments on SNL, food4thought. I'm a big fan of
than man's work. And it wouldn't surprise me if that is where this series came from.

Ok, time for my old geezer impression, I remember when VW first came to these shores, they had some very imaginative advertising then as well. They weren't quite so zany. These remind me of the Mike Myers character on SNL, Deter who hosted an east german tv show, Schprokets.
