Thanks for commenting!

FW, The Voice's (say it with reverence) Issue  is promoting his own legitimacy as a Presidential candidate before the far left fanatics he wants to woo. As for what is debatable about his allegations, Senator Specter attempted to engage him in debate about them as soon as he introduced the resolution, but he cut and run rather than defend an indefensible position. Sarooster, Jethro and Offbeats also addressed this.

Arley, thanks as always for your keen insight. I would refine your standards as follows: Ask intelligent and honorable questions, rather than this inane tripe such as The Voice is foisting upon us. Beyond that, I concur completely. If The Voice of Moderation wants a big hearing into whether or not a censure is in order, bring it that the truth may be known. I'm fully confident that he will rue that day.

Writer-good post

Writer, enjoyed yet another of your posts. I've been out of town for the last week, and haven't really followed the news, other than major highlights. Is the concern that Feingold announced a hollow pseudo-threat to Bush or that he simply shot off his mouth without any plan of action? Do I think his announcement was self serving? Yes I do, but I go back to a comment I made a week ago or so, in that to keep our country moving forward on a more or less straight centrist path we need to keep up the tough questions, demand honest answers and (I didn't mention it then but should have), hold all persons accountable for their actions. While I don't think censure in an appropriate action at this time, the implication of it reaffirms the message "we're watching you!", and careful scrutiny of all our leaders is both our right and our responsibility as citizens of this country. As always I bid you peace and understanding. Arley White

Writer

Good post and no doubt the likes of such antics of  people are self serving. Allow the left to scream, kick and yell, it has always been to their demise.. What I don't understand is after yesterday's major joint operation of  forces in Iraq, why would anyone NOT believe this type of intelligence is not only necessary, it's critical??  The frackin idiot should have been paying respect for the success of such an operation....sounds like a real loser to me!

Care to wager that the Supreme Court disagrees with you?

Another good post writer!
And mystic shows once again when the left has on opinion they present it as fact. The fact that they think it is illegal makes it wrong and against the law. Not one single entity in the country, such as any court,  has declared this activity illegal, except the left, including the New York Times who broke the story.

What issue does Fiengold have to resolve????
There is NO doubt that the administration's "terrorist surveillance act" is outside the FISA court and therefore the law. Is there any debate on this?
