I have gotten so pissed with Blanche and she with me, but she knows I love her. We have been here while and know how it is, but you have to let it go when it starts to get to you. Good grief can you imagine if Blanche had a nervous breakdown or I had a nervous breakdown? What headlines eh? I would feel so terrible especially not knowing how to reach her and such....there are people I read everyday even if I don't comment...there are people I have learned to stay away from too! We are all really lucky to have this site and each other!! Yes, it was Freddie the Freak...he sang "New York, New York" like a star!!!

I agree with Offbeat, Symphony,
Who in the world would send you, of all people, hate mail? You never have a bad word to say about anyone, your blogs are always full of goodwill, no matter what your mood is. It must be envy, because that is just weird.

Believe me OFFBEATS ....I have had my fair share of hate mail
since being here....I ignore it now...but I remember getting so upset and taking it to heart...believeing their every word...I realised it was just a game...Now I am the winner for not letting it get to me.
I love ya...and have loved ya since the first day....I remember reading about your pub and it is freddy? the karaoke singer.......take care.

Of all the people on Blogit I wouldn't think you would ever receive hate mail..
The good thing about Blogit is the diversity...even though it can get heated at times, you really have to let it go...it's like having a one dimensional argument...you really never win when your argument is one dimensional!!! I have loved you since the first day I joined this place..and your right about blogger that come and go, already so many I can't even recall names..

It's funny, Symphony, I think "Winding up" is what a lot of people
here in the States would call "pushing button", but that's more psychotherapy jargon. I like "winding up" better, it makes me think of a clock or a watch getting wound tighter and tighter until the spring snaps.

Winding you up! That's a great phrase. I forgot that one, but it's perfect
I used to know that one from my someone who used to be my best friend (long story there) who's English:, but it says it all.

Symphony,
I like your take on things. It'd be fun to meet you in a pub, have a drink and a long conversation. Same with so many interesting people here. As for the arguments, I thought I could discuss politics in the politics section in a calm, rational way. I was wrong, it's too heated, so I've backed off that, although I still put in my two cents now and then. It just wasnt' going anywhere but exhausting and upsetting me. Otherwise, I get along with almost everybody.

Hi Symphony... as a newbie here on blogit, i must chime in at this point to
say i second your emotions. At the very least, i find blogit interesting and alive. At its very best, for me, are readers who share goosebump moments on short inspired poems or pieces and i can feel them with me idling, running in place, until finding writers who can express the magic of us... as spiritual beings... the truth, if you will. Namaste.

Symp--very true. not many can write with your truth and understanding
of life. In most writing, to be successful, one needs to present a perception of truth, at least. I think to be branded a phony is probably the worst critique of one's work. For myself, I write mostly as the urban over sexed, somewhat philosophical, man. A pose that seems to fit me.

In fact, if I were in London, I would love to go to a pub with you and Dave Cryer...lol...Sounds like so much fun.....You always seem so upbeat and it's not easy to always feel that way. But you are a delight to read and I think plenty of folks here would agree with me...

Some people do need to attract the wrong kind of attention. They feel better when they get others angry. I have not yet met a blogger; that would be cool.

When, you say you interact with members "outside Blogit", do you mean in person?
Cause, that would be pretty cool, I guess. Though, also, a tad scary. (Considering what some of the people here are like.)
