Everyone but the baby, Noah, caught it. My stomach still is not right. I have to watch what I put in it. Thank you for your concern, and I hope you have a blessed weekend.

I am humbled that you think so highly of me; however, I feel as though I were groping in the dark half the time. It is a pleasure helping others, as it helps me to remember. Thank you.

We may have similar personalities. I'm highly organized and efficient, which is a natural breeding ground for conflict.

ah, the paradox of love. It is easy to love, but hard to remember that the object of love is not the source of that love. Yes, the person loved must exist for love to be experienced. Can you see the beauty of our purpose together, that we need each other to experience who we are?

Sometimes, it is best to do nothing. Any movement will keep the pendulum swinging.

Yes, you and Appleworks have valid points. We have to deal with problems on the level in which they exist. Yet, at the same time, there will come a time when something higher will be desired, instead of going round the same track time and again. Each person must reach that point where being tired outweighs the need for being right.

I respect any variance of opinion you might have, in peace. You are a great person and I am fully open to anything you feel you need to say- whether or not it is in agreement with what I have said.

I see your point, and it does make sense in the context of defending oneself against tyranny. Yet, when does the oppressed become the oppressor? It's not so clear cut, because of projection and blame that cloud clear thinking.

You're right. It takes great courage to doubt, and to honestly look.

That, I think, is one of the greatest illusions: that we are in control. Thank you for reminding me.

Avant can you tell me why do i seek a companion..i know what i seek but i dont know the reason...why do i need a human form to give & recieve love..is this a mere need..& when life circumstances are not what you wish where are you supposed  to go..along the life or on your own way...taking charge to seek..what should i do...all i can ask is pray that i shall find what i seek & may it turn out a blessing...

avant,
Even that conflict that we have within ourselves can be stopped if we make the decision to do it. Thank you for reminding me of a simple truth. Blessings...and thank you for stopping by my ponderings as well...I always enjoy having you stop in! Blessings...

Avant-Garde,
Perception is a choice, but, imho, conflict exists independently of how we choose to react to it.  There are beliefs worth standing up for. As Appleworks said, there are many, many injustices.  How does one respond?

I have to say I am in conflict over this. But at peace

posted by WileyJohn on March 15, 2006 at 9:58 PM | link to this | reply

A world that is peaceful is no one else's responsibility: it is a simple decision to stop creating conflict.

if you have a health conflict which is physical, you believe spiritually if you stop creating conflict it ceases to exist? that can send you to the grave early too. i think recognizing problems is important. creating conflict can be good, if i were a slave in peace with no judgement, i would be at peace but tyrants and corporations win again. if the world powers control destruction and kill the world, it happens so much faster with people who dont conflict.

Avant -
It's hard to release conflict when it is the only way you know, but not concerning one's self with what others think is a start.

aman... go within, calm the mind, ignore it, slide a notch or two to the left, experience peace, warmth, rejuvenation... then choose light and love.

I was reading something
yesterday which said 'you are not in charge' and advised that I just let go of things over which I have no control. They just are.

I think avant...
...if we focused more on our interactions with one another, with our own capacity to work towards right and to take responsibility for our actions and kept our supreme beings in our own private place, all would be much better in the world

That makes (some) sense ...

though, I honestly can't decide whether I agree or not.
