I don't know anyone personally who is a scientologist, but all the well known ones who are in the spot light very much seem to have no humor at all about their faith and it will those who everyone will use as examples of members of their faith. Tom Cruise ahs walked out of interviews just because they want to talk about scientology, not because they have asked any rude questions, just basic questions.
Hubbard went after celebrities because he wanted the attention, but it seems that the celebrities themselves act strange over it and give off some very odd impressions about the belief.

I don't think it's fair to lump all scientologists together ...
In fact, I know quite a few of them who have very healthy senses of humor.
