Medusa, I KNOW!! I remember
that Quaker Oats guy and all I could think when I saw it was

Haha, Spitfire....Very funny and how weird is that BK mascot?!
I was appalled, too, when I saw him in all those ads. He is indeed scary. There is something wrong about that mascot, and I can't quite pin it down...lol....I liked the 'where's the beef' thing. That was cute and kinda raunchy...Quaker Oats started doing a bizarre ad campaign, too, where they feature a big cardboard thing of the Quaker, at a soccer game, the school crosswalk. Bizarre-looking dude and just freakin' weird....

Anything to sell a burger
Remember that one from years ago, "Where's the Beef"? I know that these companies make enough in revenue to not have to go out on such a limb, but they are gonna do it anyway.

Ulp, thanks, Spitfire, I'd hate to have the Men In Black show up
on my doorstep if anything hinky happened to the King. Thanks for the reminder.

Blanche,
I think we should be careful what we say in public or on Blogit...Big Brother may be watching and it would look suspicious when, er, I mean
if something suddenly happens to the King. Something drastic and violent.

I agree totally, Spitfire,
Creepy Burger King is just too much to have to take when you've already got a full plate! Off with his creepy, plastic head!

What's Disturbing is that these commercials are working ....
BK is owned by a Dallas-Fort Worth takeover specialists, and their sales have gone up since they started this wacko advertising. The worst has to be the Dr. Cheesey. Terrible.

I've never liked those commercials
They make no sense at all.
Who is going to take food form some freak dressed up like a king, breaking into your house or car or being a peeping tom?
When Vader met up with him, I was just waiting for a light saber to chop his big head off. My guess is that is wait happened after the commercial ended.
As for the chicken thing, yeah they really are loosing it.
I don't like Burger King's food in general and they keep given me reasons to stay away from them.

MPO,
I beg to differ. You're probably just scared of Ronald McDonald cause he's a creepy clown guy. Plastic and shiny, yes, but a clown, nonetheless.

Or he could show up, even more creepy, larger-than-life-sized and stick his finger in through your window....

Still,
neither of those are even remotely as scary as Ronald McDonald.
Or, for that matter, Jared Fogel.
