I welcome the cocoon and chafe at it, too, Avant Garde
but I still trust that somewhere somehow I'll come out of this chrysalis stronger.

Wanting one and resisting the other disrupts the pros.

You're right. There is a 'chiaroscuro', a dance of light and darkness. The more this interchange is experienced, the less the darkness holds sway. I loved this comment.

The darker it is, the more opportunity exists!

That's a nice thought. From your pictures, it looks very warm and inviting, as you are.

hiiii..
i agree with you completely...you know what happens to me..i get into the darkness..& i feel everything thats against life, it remains for sometime..for a few hors or days..& then i come back to my original cheerful self full of life...this gives me a great deal of insight to learn & write.i believe that everything is di-polar life itself is like that you have as much darkness as light & that only brings the harmony & that is the real beauty....& yes..now i'll make sure that ghost wears a scarf..thanks for the imaginative idea!

avant,
All of the above, sometimes, but I value it for it's opportunity!

I love cocoons and the feeling here too.. when I was little I used to keep cocoons in jars until the butterflies hatched.

I am a horse
and your words are oats in my trough.

Oats.

Lowers cholestoral, and promotes good, intenstinal, health.

Our intestines.

70% of our immune system.

One of the most rewarding benefits of good intestinal health, besides the energy and vigor, is clear, firmer, younger looking skin.

The 'magical' properties of oats - like spinich, or Roger Ramjets Proton Energy Pill.

I loved both cartoons, but the latter one was banned, by the mid 70's....

Another thing about oats.

They keep me slim, trim, and stylin.
