Go to Religion in the Modern World

- Go to The fool has said in his heart that there is no God
Xeno-x -- I think that we can fairly assume that the author of the phrase
as found in the bible, was speaking of just one version of God. We can also assume that those who would flippantly use this phrase in speaking of all non believers, have never considered that they are suggesting that everyone but those who believe as they do are fools.

IF YOU WILL NOTICE
the author didn't specify WHICH god.
we got Yahveh and El
and a few others hanging out about the author's time.
he was saying that you're a fool if you don't believein any ogd.
bvut on the other hand,
you gotta believe in what you see.
and what you discover.
cause
if you don't then
you don't have belief.
so atheists do have belief.
but not in the same things that religionists do.
if you bleieve in the higher nature of humans, then . . .
but then there are those who are without any belief.
Christian myth has created many of those.

Brettnik -- I will stop into your postings a little later but for now >>>
you seem to have a minor computer glitch. I had the same thing on my computer awhile back and it turned out to be a Windows specific bug. We may not be speaking of the same critter but I cured it with a Trend Micro Housecall. found
HERE ...the free virus scan did the trick in my case. Hope this helps.

Gomedome, I knew it would. HAHAHA
I thought that you deserved them for that post. I must say though that I am not rendering anybody anything. I speak only for myself.

TAPS- thank you for the screaming comment headline
It has brought quite a few clicks to my blog.
So as you are rendering countless numbers of very intelligent people as being fools by believing in the validity of this catch phrase; do you include all of those who do not believe in your version of God or will any version of God do?

TAPS is an idiot according to Gomedome.
Yes, I have heard it repeated by many believers . I have read it in the Bible. I don't use it as a weapon. I haven't repeated it to anyone when talking religion. I have not intimidated anyone by intimating that they are one. But, I do believe it. I would rather be an idiot according to Gomedome than a fool according to God.

Talion - and everyone likes to be told that they are smart
especially those who have had a life of frustration because they aren't very. Where this catch phrase does not come out and say this directly it does so by implication.

This falls under a great marketing campaign. What good is joining if it isn't distinctive?
