Thanks and yes, it really reinforced things for me.  I was learning to land the plane- the scariest part about learning to fly, I think.

First of all I could
at least read your writing, My writing is real scribbling. Second, though it seems funny now it was probably good reinforcement at the time. I find writing things down always helps me to better remember things.

You are a pilot????? That is soooo cool. My husband Will, and I are starting lessons for private pilot license at the eof the month : )

hi nan

my dad retained his pilot's licence after world war II.  when i was very young he would rent two and four seaters and take my sisters and me flying. 

he was a willing dad when it came to showboating, flying upside down, etc.  occasionally he would let us take "the wheel".  it was exhilarating to say the least!

p.s.  i just saw your note to jazwolf that one of your favorite movies is "a night at the roxbury".  i love that movie!, it makes me laugh every time i watch it.
