Sometimes the problem is the question. True acceptance solves the problem
and can answer the question.

what he has made
That is so true. I'd like to add another component to that statement. "What they have made".

We inherit our fantasies from our relationship to our environment.

The headline stars of our psychic theatre are parents, teachers, clergy, and peers.

The light they provide shines upon  the path we follow.

They give us our light, and our path.

Sometimes they give us a light thats are dim, and a path that's dark, and fraught.

Being the terrified beasts we are, we, blinded by trauma and terror.

We can't see, and can't  process any additional information that the environment may be providing.

So, we adapt our behaviors to the impact that the heavy hitters in our environment make upon us.

We will view the world from the lens of our experience, and react accordingly.

If our immediate environment is hostile, the whole world is hostile.

We will make enmies of friends, while increasing our existing pool of enemies exponentially.

This puts the mechanism that keeps us enthralled to these paranoid schizoid fantasies in autopilot.

This is what happens when we've internalized dark forces, without having had the opportunity to dissolve them in light.

Nuthin can stop these fantasies, or these forces, until the victim can find a new light.

Even if it means consturcting  a flashlight.

And and shining it on the faces of those hidden, invisible demons, that keep yankin his chain....

It's so helpful to think of problems as not problems but opportunities.  We all need to be reminded of this constantly.  Thank the heavens we have you  .

I agree that our political systems are in dire need of reform. Perhaps it is so due to how each of us individually view our situations.

Yes. But where we look determines the answer we receive, and the outcome experienced.

Yes, you are right. For those who believe that there are things and people to fulfill them, morals are needed so that boundaries are not crossed.

Yet, if a person realizes that he is One with all, is he not guided by divine laws?

That's what the taxes are for.

Dear avant-garde. Most taxes are collected for the expentidure of the govt. But truly a big chunk of the money is for the coming problems. The govt usually gets the answers (the tax money) before the question arises.

I think that I would rather think of it as, what benefits one is given or shared by another (rather than taken from another).

dont you think that there should be morals or balance to see the world. if a drunk or someone joyfully goes on a rampage down the street smashing windows and fighting , this person or someone else would far better be of good service to see this as wrong or bad and needing a solution.

i think judging and understanding what is bad or wrong has been the steppingstones to much of the good  today.

Whacky
Solving things in the physical plane is the correct use of analysis. However, when it comes to the realm of emotion, analyzing sets up the belief that there is an unpredictable force that victimizes the person who is alone and must fight back to recover.

Hence, the remembrance of pain in any form is to draw the conclusion that something must be done to prevent it from recurring.

There is a much different state of being in the mind that realizes its own creativity and choice to be conflicted.

posted by avant-garde on March 11, 2006 at 5:16 PM | link to this | reply

Jeremy
Wanting to have a solution to a problem is what creates its very existence. You think that there is something outside of yourself, 'causing' the emotions you feel, whether it be anger, fear, sorrow, etc.

Seeking to 'fix' the problem merely confirms that it is real, and outside of your ability to understand why it happened. Instead of wanting to get to the root of it, wanting a solution is to merely want the negative effects of it to go away.

In this vein, wanting a solution to peace is merely the reprieve between conflicts. Seeking to make happy is merely the reprieve between sorrows. Searching for love is merely the assuagement that knows eventually that it will leave.

i read this more. i dont understand how something is taken from one when given to another? if the problem is only imagined, then simply that seems more reason to give an answer. sometimes wanting to know something can be good, and frustration and anger can change something for the better. ignorance does not seem like a solution to me. this is frustrating to read, i cant pretend i understand and that is an example of why not. if i am frustrated and want to learn this and know this, that is more drive to understand and know something  than not wanting.

Thank you very much for reading and also commenting. Well, I think your wishes will be very difficult to fulfilled, for as you know history in our world is written only by the victors. In a way Napoleon belong to the victorious side of history. Hence most of his atrocities are  not known. Once again thank you very much. God Bless.

Thought provoking as always - you are consistent!

As God told Walsch, everything that occurs is the outward physical manifestation of your innermost thoughts, choices, ideas, and determinations regarding Who You Are and Who You Choose to Be.
