Jazwolf
have you ever fished with live squid?

Nan--- Nice Pacific yellowtail. Those over on the Atlantic side are another
species altogether, although they also are called yellowtail. They're a light-weight snapper that can be caught on fairly light tackle.

WOW. The one that did not get away.

Dear Nanaroo.. You look more stunning that the fish. That was a nice catch. I also like fishing. I have spent more than 150 AUD on my fishing gears and so far I have caught three small ones so far.  LOL

I wish I will have more time going fishing here in Sydney.

Fishing permit is very strict here in Sydney. A colleague of mine went fishing in a river in Coffs Harbour, four hours drive from Sydney. He was relaxing beside a river. A man in a canoe appeared, get off the canoe and asked for his permit. He was shocked because he did not have one. He did not deny and was willing to pay the fine. After a few questions, the Ranger knew his host and a slap on the wrist (warning) and let him go. He packed up the fishing gear and went to the pub instead.

Anyway, I have an unscheduled blog. It may not be your cup of tea because it is Horror at the start but has a good ending.

If you have time, I invite you to read it. I haven't written the blogs for the mermaids, but one day it will appear.

regards for now.     Prof.

Love the fishing stories
Nan ~ We seem to have so much in common!  I worked as a deck hand on a diving and deep sea fishng charter out of Pensacola Florida about 12 year ago.  I love boating and was working on my 100 ton captains license.  Your stories remind me of that time in my life.  What fun!

Nanaroo,
What a great catch.  The pizza in the photo below it, looks like something more my speed, though.  :)
