It's funny that you say that: I was thinking of writing my next post along this vein. Thank you.

Thank you for your concern. I think it's almost over with. Now I fear my boys and my wife will catch it from me.

You're correct. It isn't easy at all, which is why so many don't learn its lessons. Thank you so much for the visit. I'm honored.

Your words are beautiful. Perhaps we are kindred souls on a similar journey.

You're very kind, and you've given me a new lease on this situation. Take care, my good friend and neighbor.

Me, too. I've been very ill today. I hope my wife and kids don't get this, but it seems unavoidable.

Thanks. I'm thinking of self-publishing a book containing these types of themes, written in the same way. I could use some help with the pics (hint, hint). Of course, your name would be included if it came to that.

So true. I've been down with a virus all day and I'm miserable. I'm taking zofran, which keeps me from throwing up all over the place. Thanks for the visit and the reminder.

loss is part of life, but that doesn't make it easier

The cost of growth is measured in loss

if we are attentive

and

sensitive too

what seems like loss

can be a blessing

If we are recpetive

forgiving

loving

Life's blessings

visit us

 in surprising ways!

Like I say
why wouldn't a publisher wish to publish words like this? A lovely early start to the weekend.

Yes, I feel the pain today but don't feel like growing. Running maybe, but not growing.

Avant -

This reminds me of that saying, I think it goes like this:

Pain is required, suffering is optional.

this one was paricularly nice to read- it's been a 'growing pain' kind of week for me!

Hi Avant.....
Sounds like the life of a spiritual seeker! Great as always! Do you publish any of your stuff?  If not, you should!

Observation...

This point is determinant in finding a solution in so many situations...

I feel tired today...the central part of my back is painful...the trouble is, the pain sometimes goes away and comes back harder...my doc first talked about 3 months for getting healed, now he is talking about 6 months...looks like it is a quite long process and that i have to be patient.
