Dealing with Vladimir Putin must be done very carefully; he's former KGB. He has renewed govt. control of Russian TV and radio, depriving broadcasters of the freedom they've had for only a few years. While it's hard to trust him, I doubt that there'll be another cold war. The Russian people have tasted freedom. Hopefully, they'll want to, and be able to, resist his inclination to usurp more of their freedoms.
