No, you absolutely did the right thing!
Any officer who says otherwise is an ignorant jerk (and exactly the type I would not trust either!) I hope the judge turns out to be a little more intelligent... Good luck

Dear Tandra.. That is why they have two nick names. One is CROC and the other one is PIGS. I know why they are called crocodiles because they hide in the bushes and wait for a victim. I really don't know why they are sometimes referred to as PIGS. ... regards.. Prof.
