Great points.....and it always amazes me that people even wonder that there could be a difference; I feel so very sorry for those poor souls who don't ever experience the luxury of live music. The same goes for live theater.....and it's like looking at an art book versus going to the museum. But, as usual, I digress.....feeling the vibrations of the music flow through your body, the sounds surrounding you, experiencing it together with a group, the pure sound coming from the instruments to your ear....the sheer aliveness to the music...there is just no comparison between the sameness of the recorded perfection you can hear over and over, and the once in a lifetime moment you get to hear just that once that you attend a live performance. Oops, sorry for the mini-post.....I feel passionately about live music!!
