Thank you, Corbin...
This is powerful "propaganda" you've got going here. Seriously though, there is more of this going on in Iraq than some want to admit. It often takes good a very long time to be the victor. Blessings...

Corbin,
you are absolutely right in reminding us that there is another side to the story in Iraq. It isn't really an issue of whether this or that sign was 'photoshopped'! The mainstream media, CNN for example, are engaged in an ongoing campaign of 'photoshopping' by selectively and relentlessly showing just one, the negative side, of the situation in Iraq, to convince us that the whole thing is a failure. But there is that other side. For example, when I read the tally of Iraqi civilians killed every day, sad though that may be, I weigh that against the tally of murdered Iraqis Sadam amassed in the course of his rule, and we can be sure that it would have increased substantially, were he still in power.

I never said the pictures were altered only the signs
anyone can see that. I have had many pictures emailed to me from people I know over there with kids in them but it is the signs I am questioning NOT the pictures.

I'm of the opinion that the photos are genuine, but only God knows
(along with the photographer!).
Fact is though, you certainly cannot "photoshop" the very genuine appearing smiles of the Iraqi children seen in those photos. And the woman holding the "Thank you thank you USA" sign did not look in the least like she was saying anything else (such as F You, F you USA).

No Corbin when my son was over there and a few friends of mine
who are ex-cop buddies and are in the reserves, sent some pictures with kids and themseleves. I am just saying the signs are bogus.

It doesn't matter what you show or say Corbin!
For the liberals to be right we have to lose the war in Iraq. And they are going to make sure the only images they show and the only news they put forth is negative and that includes the bloggers on here. They don't want to see pictures like this. They can't stand pictures like this. All the little children in Iraq are being killed and maimed by the American soldiers. They are hated!! I bet Professor Peacock, blogfogger, kooka, blanche_dubois, and their kin won't give any kudos to our military men and women and our country in general. These pictures are priceless and no we won't see them on any of the mainstream, which is out of stream, media. Keep up the great postings and good work.

Corbin these are good and I have few like this BUT
the ones with the signs, in my opinion, have been Photoshopped, if you look closely the "T" and the "H" in the "thank you" are connected and the "n" and the "k" are alike. Also look very closely at the kids sign and you can see where it has been altered.
Look at the one sign the woman is holding;
Thank you
Thank you
U.S.A.
And then look at the sign the kid has and compare the two.
The second thank you in her sign matches the thank you in the kids sign. The T and h are slanted and they touch.
The person who did these tried to cover it a few times by changing the little "a" but doing them both in red was not good.
