oops...
I wrote the quote wrong, it actually says "don't just exist - live!"
haha

I heard a quote once that said...
Don't just live - exist.

I'm not big on quotes, but I like that one. I once worked in an office where everyone got into the habit of pinning inspirational quotes above their desks. Then one guy pinned one up saying, "The only people who need inspirational quotes above their desks, are people who lack inspiration"

Anyway, I got sidetracked. I've been away for a while out of laziness, but now I'm back. And i'm glad I popped back up at such a pivitol moment in your life. Good luck. It sounds like a great decision, and I'm sure your family will appreciate it.

6. Malcolm's Midge-Repellant - for when other bloggers clutter up your comments with inane jokes

Blocks just seem to unblock when you least expect it, I find. Hope yours does.

Thought of some more blog titlesfor you:

  1. Malcolm's Midriff - for when you want to stare at your own belly button in a very introspective manner - as we all need to do from time to time
  2. Malcolm's Midnight - for when you're up late
  3. Malcolm's Midwest - for when you take that trip across the pond
  4. Malcolm's Mid-off - for when you're talking about cricket
  5. Malcolm's Middlesbrough - for when you go up to the North East

Hope they gave you a laugh. See you around the blog.

Malcolm,
May your spirit dance lightly...I hope that you have a restful and wonderful weekend. Blessings!

You're right; once they expect so much and take all you do for granted, it's time to reset priorities. But midst it all, you must be doing something right if Claire is singing and dancing around your home. You do sound exhausted - time for some changes and I think you're on the right track.

Thank you. I'd rather have a list than be so listless, that's for sure.

Malcolm...we all go thru stages like this...
Life incringes on what we have in our hearts to do. Make a Priority List and try to get things back in order in your life.

Malcolm,
Keeping balance in the modern era is a challenge. I think you'd be wise to "clock out" from company email. They'll survive without you.

We are like clocks, in that we need to be rewound by rest and relaxation, or we quit working altogether.
