Happy Anniversary.

Dear SYMPHONY, Sometimes we surprise ourselves to anniversaries. We say to ourselves: "I just can't believe it, I have been in BLOGIT for six months? I enjoyed BLOGIT and it is my hobby.

I like reading about mysteries and creepy stories, though in TV I love the show of Attenborough about plants and animals.

regards..  Prof.

I always liked
that great Joseph Pulitzer quote.  Thanks for reminding me of it.

Nice post here, Symphony, and congrats on your staying power.
I enjoyed this blog because you enjoy people and what people do in life, even if it is shopping for junk. I enjoy biographies of people. I'm not a big mystery  or sci-fi book fan. But I am open to most writing as you are. I, too, like to take a peek into people's lives and see what makes them tick, overcome hardship, etc.. I even like reading the Enquirer and other gossip trash stuff...lol..

Symphony,
I loved this post. I love this blog. I know you a little more each day. You have explained who you are in this post because you write like you want to read. You do it in tiny piece meal parts of you. I have followed you for almost all that time. I came in a few months later, but I know your childhood to some degree and how you were so very strong and have come up out of so much. I do know that was not easy, but your attitude is so good. This is a great post. Not all of us can tell you about us. I would never know where to begin. Be blessed.

**Happy Anniversary Symphony!**

Excellent reflections and solid writing clues ~ Thank you! My tastes are similar - when a book, movie, etc. is true story, my interest level soars. And I love poetry that carries you away to distant lands and/or imparts deep wisdom. Dave Pelzer is an incredible writer and human being - I have 3 of his books dealing with the horrific abuse he suffered and survived. Amazing!

A very happy 2-year anniversary to you!    Are you glad you're still here?  Have you seen a lot of people come and go?  (I'm just trying to imagine what it will be like 2 years from now!)  Have a wonderful day!

Symphony, Happy Anniversary and thanks for all the good ideas to write

about.  I feel I should print it out and keep it as a reference.  I may have something to say on all those subjects.

Have a good day, Symphony girl, and God bless you and the little ones.

I've always favored the term, "enamored" ...

Meanwhile, I read Time and Newsweek (to stay "in the know"), plus "Vogue" and "The New Yorker" for "culture".

As far as individual writers, I am enamored of Joyce Carol Oates and Roger Ebert.  Now, there's an unlikely duo.

I have really over used the words "I", "love", "like", "enjoy"
anybody got any suggestions to not use those words so much?
