Yes. The illusion exists only because the mind is invested in it. Thanks, my friend.

Perception. That's the rub in all of this world, is it not? We perceive the illusion and live our lives based on it, when all we have to do is change our point of view and watch the illusion melt.

Exactly. Depending on what level you're on, will determine what is seen. It is a kaleidoscope of meaning. Thank you so much.

I think forgiveness is seen as something we must give up, and losing is not good for the ego. But, the trick is seeing that we are the ego, with all its flawed assumptions about reality.
I like this interaction. Thank you.

I think there can be many meanings to this...
that seems to be par for the course with your posts, which is why I like them so much. They always cause me to stop and ponder.

Avant - you are quite right - it's all a matter of perception. I've come to the conclusion that acim is right too. I had a lot of problems with it back in the 90's. It was really hard for me to see a chair as anything but a chair - so I found the assignments a grueling exercise in boredom and futility.
acim asserts that we are still in heaven, and that separation from God is an illusion. Here's the thing though, if we know we're in heaven, then why wait? Why can't we just wake up, right now? Probably because we like the nightmare too much. What do you think?
